About Us

The Guest House Bluebells was opened as accommodation in 2020, in the middle of Covid, by a locally grown family. Our beautiful Japanese house, built by our parents, has a history of over 30 years. Some small renovations, painting, and polishing have been done, although there are still some remnants of graffiti from our childhood. It was a very exciting project for us to see the house becoming nicer and cleaner. We love the house even more now because the beauty of simplicity is now embodied in it. We hope that staying at our house will be one of the peaceful and enjoyable experiences you have in Japan. Hosting guests from all over the world and offering them a good stay is truly our honor and joy.

Hi, I am your host, Megumi. I enjoy traveling to experience different cultures, learn new ideas and try new things. During my travels, I met many kind people helped me in many ways, and I wished to become someone who could support others in return. That’s why I opened the guest house with my family. I look forward to meeting people from all over the world and enjoying conversations with them. Please feel free to ask me anything if you need assistance. Rooms

There are two types of rooms available:
1. A Western-style room with beds (maximum of 2 beds).
2. A Japanese-style room with traditional futons on tatami mat floor (recommended for 2-3 guests, but can accommodate up to 4).

Please let me know your preference for the number of beds and futons (e.g., 1 bed, 3 futons).

【Kitchen】
Please let me know if you would like to prepare meals. I will show you how to use the kitchen and we can arrange a time for it. Feel free to use the essential condiments, tea, and coffee.

【Living room】
When guests are staying only in the Western-style room, this room will serve as the living room. Guests can access it at any time to relax, watch TV, or chat.

【Bathroom】
There is a shower and a bathtub. Enjoy your shower any time of the day.
Shampoo, Conditioner, and body wash are available for use.

【Veranda】
This is an ideal place to enjoy your coffee in the morning and your shochu in the evening. You can access it from the living room at any time, but please respect the neighbors after 9 PM.

【Exterior】
I hope you have a great experience staying in a classic Japanese house built in 1986. In front of the building, there is a space for your car. Please let me know if you need it.

【Rental Bikes】
For guests who want to explore the surroundings by bike, we have two bikes available for rent. One has gears (¥500/day), and the other does not (¥300/day).
